ON THE 2ND DAY OF CHRISTMAS
For the jewelry lover on your list, jewelry designer Laurie Ito, of Teru Jewelry, is showing her holiday collection of silk tassel earrings and necklaces, plus her original beaded bracelets during a trunk show at Nui Mono boutique in Moiliili from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.
Ito’s collection includes handcrafted black and holiday red silk tassel earrings embellished with healing stones and matching silk tassel lariat necklaces. Her beaded bracelets are fashioned from amethyst, rose quartz, lapis lazuli and other semi-precious stones coupled with wood, Tibetan beads and red tiger’s eye. These one-of-a-kind combinations were created for their healing, luck-enhancing and protective qualities.
If you miss the sale, you’re still in luck, because Nui Mono regularly carries Ito’s creations.
As a special holiday service to customers, Nui Mono will be extending its hours to open each Sunday in December from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will feature a Sunday sale rack with items pulled from their regular inventory. There will be new items offered each Sunday.
Also available on Sundays only through the holidays will be Deb Kaneshiro’s holiday-packaged Oohlala Granola.
Nui Mono is at 2745 S. King Street with parking behind the store and next door on the Kuhio Elementary School lawn. Call owner Lue Zimmelman at 808.946.7407 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
