24 days of Christmas: Gift of greenery

tree planting

ON THE 8TH DAY OF CHRISTMAS

For a donation of $50 or more to Malama Learning Center’s “Me+Tree” campaign, your gift will help beautify the Waianae mountains for the benefit of future generations.

The program is part of the new Ola Na Kini initiative that is working to revive and regrow native Hawaiian trees and shrubs in the Waianae mountains, which have become overrun with invasive plants.

Each contribution will help the nonprofit plant a tree in the Waianae mountains. Volunteers are seeding native trees, shrubs and ground covers that once thrived in the mountains.

To make a donation in the name of a loved one, visit malamalearningcenter.org or email info@malamalearningcenter.org, or call 808.305.8287.

Mālama Learning Center is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization and donations are tax deductible.
