“The Egg Lady” Eileen Tokita will help you bring a little glitz to your Easter Sunday with Faberge-inspired decorated eggs.
She hosts classes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Sunday at Learning Unlimited, and will also host a special Easter class at Ben Franklin Mapunapuna from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 24.
Eileen Tokita has been teaching people the art of creating Faberge-style eggs for more than 40 years. She offers classes every Sunday at Learning Unlimited.
New students can select a panorama egg containing a ceramic bunny (shown at top of page), or a perfume holder. Each project takes about two to three hours to complete. Both projects will be offered at a special class price of $35, reduced from $60.
All new students and their sponsors will also be entered in a drawing for a handbag embellished with Swarovski crystals, shown below. The drawing will take place on Easter Sunday, April 1. No registration is required.
Learning Unlimited is at 1210 Wilhelmina Rise in Kaimuki.
HouseMart Ben Franklin Crafts Mapunapuna is at 2810 Paa St.
New students will have a chance to win this purse by Tokita.
