The East-West Center Participants Association will host its 2018 cultural celebration, East-West Fest, from 3 to 6 p.m. April 15 at the Hawaii Imin International Conference Center at Jefferson Hall on the East-West Center campus.

The celebration of cross-cultural understanding with lawn seating will feature a lineup of entertainment and international experiences as its student organizers seek to evoke the excitement of the festival’s legendary early years of the 1960s and ’70s.

In addition to student performances, the event will feature such professional performers such as Kenny Endo’s Taiko Ensemble, Aaja Nachle presenting a Bollywood-inspired number, and Kanoe Miller dancing hula.

There will also be food trucks, international refreshments and snacks, and cultural booths will represent a variety of countries. Admission and parking are free.

The Hawaii Imin International Conference Center at Jefferson Hall is at 1711 East-West Road.
